Coffee preparation — GrabGroc

First identify the format: instant coffee dissolves in water, while ground Turkish coffee needs brewing. Coffee sticks may contain a prepared mix; follow the exact packet label for ingredients and preparation. Do not assume a jar and a sachet share the same recipe.

For instant coffee, use a clean cup and potable hot water, add the amount advised on the package, and stir. Adjust strength to taste without treating this guide as a manufacturer dose. Take care with hot water; milk or sweetener is optional unless already included in a mix.

For Turkish coffee, use a suitable small pot, combine finely ground coffee and water according to your package or preferred method, and heat gently while watching closely. Avoid boiling over. Let grounds settle before drinking; the sediment is normally left in the cup.

Keep opened coffee dry and tightly closed, away from heat and strong odors. Use clean, dry utensils. Check the package for best-before and storage instructions. The advice here is general, not an invented manufacturer temperature or serving dose.
